Identify areas that need specificity or tightening
Align tone with your goals (grants, exhibitions, websites, studio visits)
Build confidence in how you articulate your work
This session offers dedicated time to address your specific questions and challenges in a supportive, constructive environment.
Optional Professional Editing Included:
Following your session, you may submit your revised artist statement for professional editing by one of our experts. You will receive a polished version with thoughtful revisions and light copy editing to ensure clarity, cohesion, and professionalism—while maintaining your authentic voice.
This add-on is ideal for artists preparing for upcoming applications, exhibitions, studio visits, or website updates, and for anyone who would benefit from personalized guidance and refinement.
Please note: You must have completed Session One: Finding Your Voice: Artist Statements & Elevator Pitches of the Professional Practices for Artists series at Second Street Gallery before taking this session.
Space is limited to ensure meaningful attention for each participant. The meeting will take place at Second Street Gallery or at a location on the Downtown Mall. Artists must provide their own transportation.
