Internship Sponsorship
Help cultivate the next generation of museum and arts professionals.
Second Street Gallery is committed to providing meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for college students and emerging professionals interested in careers in museums, galleries, curatorial practice, arts administration, nonprofit leadership, education, marketing, and community engagement.
Working alongside gallery staff, interns gain valuable real-world experience through exhibition installation, artist relations, collections and artwork handling, communications, event planning, public programming, visitor engagement, and the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit contemporary art space. These experiences help prepare interns for careers in the arts while strengthening the gallery's ability to serve artists and the community.
Your sponsorship allows Second Street Gallery to offer paid internships, helping remove financial barriers that often prevent students from pursuing experiential learning opportunities. Sponsorship also helps offset the gallery's administrative costs, staff supervision, training, and mentorship required to provide a meaningful educational experience.
Sponsors receive:
Recognition as the sponsor of a Second Street Gallery internship for either one semester or the full exhibition season
Logo and/or name featured on the gallery website and internship materials
The opportunity to meet the sponsored intern (if desired)
Sponsors who commit before June 1, 2027, will also be recognized on Second Street Gallery's Season 54 Sponsorship Wall, to be unveiled at the beginning of the 2027–28 exhibition season.
A charitable tax deduction to the extent allowed by law
By sponsoring an internship, you are investing not only in Second Street Gallery, but also in the future of the arts by helping develop the next generation of artists, curators, educators, and nonprofit arts leaders.
