Photographs and video footage may be taken throughout this workshop. These will be used by Second Street Gallery for marketing and publicity, on our website and in social media or gallery email campaigns.
This event has been POSTPONED until the fall. Apologies for any inconvenience and we hope you can join us at the rescheduled time.
Join artists and friends Esteban Ocampo and Jean-Pierre Roy at Second Street Gallery on Friday, June 20, 5-8PM, for The Long Draw: Community Drawing Event. The pair is traveling down the Eastern Seaboard, stopping at artist studios, galleries, museums and local haunts to meet, greet, explore, discover, inspire and share... but only if you’ll draw with them. Come capture the magic of being in a room full of incredible people through line, shape, and shade.
Bring a sketchbook or your favorite materials and settle in to draw each other while talking about your lives, loves and secrets of the studio. Guests will have access to some communal drawing supplies and drawing boards.
FREE to attend and you can drop in for as long or as little as you like. All attendees will have the option to participate in a drawing exchange with another randomly selected artist for a $40 fee (paid in the gallery). Either way, you’ll go home with some great drawings made by you, and maybe a masterpiece from someone else!
Please note: All workshop fees are non-refundable. Please ensure your availability before booking.
