Get your hands in some clay and make something strange, useful, tiny—or all three! In this playful ceramic workshop with exhibiting artist Emma Terry, everyone will create a press-molded tray, choosing from a variety of shapes, dozens of textures to press and inlay, and three colorful glaze options: Marigold, Poppy, or Succulent.
You’ll also have time to make up to three small trinkets using press molds and cookie cutters. Turn them into jewelry, pins, magnets, or whatever curious little object you can dream up. No clay experience necessary—just come ready to press, texture, play, and make!
The workshop is available at $40 SSG members / $50 non-members. This fee covers workshop instruction, and access to all workshop materials for the activity.
