Teeny Tiny Trifecta 3, September 5 - 25, 2020

Second Street Gallery is pleased to present Teeny Tiny Trifecta 3, a juried group show to kick off the Gallery’s 47th season. Out of caution for staff and visitor safety, the exhibition opened to free appointments Saturday, September 5.

Artwork was available on our Square Store HERE.

The exhibition consists of a collection of 3 works of art, all measuring 9 inches or smaller, from a carefully curated selection of artists. This year’s exhibition includes 100 artists, primarily from Virginia and the surrounding region, representing diverse styles, techniques, and mediums. Inspired by both Cabinets of Curiosities as well as the Paris Salons of the 19th Century, the exhibition aims to showcase a wide range of talented while providing an accessible introduction to contemporary art collecting. All work will be priced at $100, so this is a great opportunity for collectors of all budgets to own a work of art by some of their favorite artists.

Selected artists will also have the opportunity to be nominated for three cash awards: The Curator’s Choice (selected by Executive Director Kristen Chiacchia), The Juror’s Choice (selected by a committee of local arts professionals), and The Audience Choice (selected by the public). Public voting will be available online and in the physical gallery space.

This exhibition is made possible in part by Gardy Bloemers, CFP Vice President, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
