Sam Skrimpz (He/Him) is an artist from south Louisiana, now based in Richmond, Virginia. His work spans murals, painting, printmaking, teaching, and organizing, grounded in reclamation, transformation, and collective identity. In public spaces, he collaborates with the City of Richmond and Richmond Public Schools to design road murals centered on youth voices and community participation. He also leads workshops that use collective making as a tool for play, expression, and connection. Across his practice, Skrimpz holds that creativity can help reimagine the world we live in.
