MECOO (They/Them) holds bachelor’s degrees in Digital Arts and Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia. Their multi-media practice takes shape from a combination of object-making and experimental photographic techniques. The works emerging from these processes explore the emotional, ethical, and imaginative dimensions of social-environmental relationships. MECOO often employs S.F. (Speculative Fabulation, Science Fiction, String Figures…) as a method of entangling the body with the world.
