Josh Dorman's "how strange it is to be anything at all" in the Main Gallery showcases a series of non-linear, multi-layered large and small paintings, generated in response and homage to the album, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. Dorman’s paintings derive a poetic inspiration from the album’s language and internal logic to create a world that is hyper-specific yet completely open-ended and longing to provide a refuge within them. This exhibition is generously sponsored by The Pontillo-Galdencio Family and The FUNd at CACF.

Dance Doyle & Caitlin McCormack's "Dirty Mirror" in the Dové Gallery is a collaborative exchange between two fiber artists who utilize meticulous, hyper-detailed, and self-taught practices profoundly rooted in time-honored craft techniques, as tools to bring order to their respective worlds and contend with trauma, mental illness, and addiction. This exhibition is generously sponsored by Daniel & Rosemary Chiacchia, and is a Season 48 Call for Submissions pick.
