Second Street Gallery is pleased to present Aww Sookie Sookie Now by Richmond, Virginia-based artist Franchell Mack Brown in the Main Gallery. Drawing inspiration from her own life and healing journey, Brown's new works explore materiality and meditative elements. By combining disparate materials into evocative objects with compositions influenced by fashion and jewelry design, the multi-disciplinary artist creates cathartic artifacts that prompt joy, balance, and peace through movement, color, and texture. 

The Dové Gallery will host HOT PINK, a group exhibition produced in collaboration with the Richmond, Virginia-based artist group Kaleido Art Collective. The exhibition explores themes of Queer identity, resistance, and resilience, inviting artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to contribute work that challenges societal norms, embraces unapologetic queerness, and affirms the power of self-expression.

Both exhibitions will be on view from June 5–July 17, 2026.
