A new round of exhibitions is here at Second Street Gallery! Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 2, from 5:30–7:30 PM for our First Friday Opening Reception and be among the first to experience two exciting new shows in our galleries.

UVA Department of Art Fifth-Year Aunspaugh Fellows Jolinna Li + Reese E. Robers present en route, featuring a selection of moving-image works brought together in a multi-channel installation, accompanied by supplementary and didactic materials offering insight into the artists’ production processes.

Emma Terry presents Strange Kin, a solo exhibition of ceramic works that blur the line between memory and invention. Combining slip-cast fragments of vintage dolls with hand-built ceramic forms, Terry creates vessels, subjects, landscapes, and small curiosities that feel at once familiar and wonderfully strange.
