Join us on Wednesday, June 24, 5:30-6:30PM when three exhibiting artists come together to discuss the predominant themes of queer identity, resistance, and resilience on view in HOT PINK. Ambrose Hernandez Godoy, Alexandra McGowan, and MECOO will be in the gallery to elaborate on their personal connection to these themes and their chosen method of self-expression. As part of the 13-person exhibition, they’ll explain why the color hot pink was chosen for the title and why including such a diverse selection of artistic voice is significant. Audience questions are always welcome following the conversation.
HOT PINK is produced in collaboration with the Richmond, Virginia-based artist group Kaleido Art Collective. and will remain on view through July 17, 2026.
