Exhibiting artist Giselle Gautreau and fellow artist Lindsay Heider Diamond will come together in the gallery on Thursday, April 23, 5:30-6:30PM, to discuss Gautreau’s works on view in Field Obscura. The themes and atmospheric quality of the artist’s paintings suggest a gradual acceptance of environmental change as the new normal. The works aim to incite contemplation and a renewed appreciation for the fragile beauty of our world, as well as the enduring aspects of nature. The pair will touch on these topics and more, and guests are welcome to ask questions at the end.
