Rolling Open Call for Exhibition Proposals | 2027-2029
Second Street Gallery (SSG) is pleased to announce an Open Call for Exhibition Proposals for upcoming exhibitions in our Main and Dové Galleries. We invite artists working across a wide range of contemporary media and practices to submit proposals for consideration for our 2027–2028 exhibition seasons.
As Central Virginia's oldest nonprofit contemporary art space, SSG is committed to presenting innovative, thought-provoking exhibitions that inspire dialogue, challenge perspectives, and connect audiences with contemporary art and artists. We encourage submissions from artists of diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences, particularly those historically underrepresented in the arts.
Applications are accepted through CaFÉ (Call for Entry). Artists are encouraged to review the full guidelines, eligibility requirements, and submission materials before applying.
