Bond/Bound: Online Exhibition

April 15, 2020 – May 15, 2020

Second Street Gallery is pleased to present Bond/Bound, a new online-only exhibition set to open digitally on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Bond/Bound responds to the tension between social connection and social distancing in our current moment. Though at times the efforts to contain COVID-19 feel intensely isolating, we have also found creative opportunities to connect deeply with family, friends, and community. Bond/Bound will feature works in a range of mediums created during, and inspired by, this period of uncertainty.

Accepted entries were chosen from a large pool of local, national, and international submissions. Each entry in Bond/Bound is accompanied by a statement from the artist about their connection to the theme. The exhibition will be hosted online and accepted works will be posted to Second Street Gallery’s social media. Interested parties can follow the gallery on Instagram @secondstreetgallery, on Facebook @SSGCville, and on Twitter @SSGCville.
