Be on the lookout for Lamppost Banners from exhibiting artists Yeni Mao (past) and Amy Sherald (May) on the downtown mall and vote for your favorite.

Founders Summit - Friday, April 17: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

at the Paramount Theater with a day of talks, socializing, and ideas with the founders of reddit, Gizmodo, The Container Store, Maker Faire, and more will share their insider guidance on how to make startups grow. Each founder will tell his or her story, and then lead a panel of experts on topics like the role of corporations in society, commerce versus creativity, and how to build big ideas in small towns.

Luncheon at SSG - Virginia's National Art Identity - Friday, April 17: Noon - 2 p.m.

SSG is hosting a luncheon during the Founders Summit on the topic of Virginia’s National Art Identity with thought leaders from across the state. Seats are extremely limited; reserve your seat now at tomtomfest.com/events/founders-summit/

Words and Music - Saturday, April 18:  Noon - 2 p.m.

Free performance by U.Va.’s Creative Writing and Music Departments marrying the art of writing, reading, and instrumentalist on Saturday, April 18 from Noon – 2pm

Yoga Art Grooves - April 11 and April 18

Two events of Yoga Art Grooves will be in April: on April 11 with Mary Lewis Meador and on April 18 with Lynsie McKeown from 3 - 4:15 pm. Each instructor will take inspiration from the exhibitions by Edward Thomas and Regina Miele. Sponsored by Opal Yoga Charlottesville, Crutchfield, Fielding Grasty, and Carpet Plus. $10 SSG members, $12 general sign-up here
