Liz Rodda uses collage as a strategy to tease out relationships between materials and ideas that are seemingly at odds with one another. Her work draws from a wide range of influence including psychology, philosophy, and pop culture. Rodda’s interdisciplinary practice includes video, sound, and sculpture.

This interdisciplinary show in the Main Gallery highlights the works of seven artists from the East Coast and mid-West paired with the Dové Gallery showing of a new lyrical short video by the Charlottesville-based Robinson.

Jason Robinson is a filmmaker and new media artist working primarily in the medium of single-channel experimental video, animated .gifs, and live performance.

This exhibition focuses on the women artists from Egypt working in video, film and other media arts. The aim is to highlight the diversity and complexity of the roles that these media and these artists play in contemporary Egyptian society.
